Who's behind it
Business Tips is run by Rhys Adams (@rhysadams on X). The site started from a simple observation: the most useful business advice usually comes from another owner, not a textbook.
How we keep it trustworthy
- Every tip is attributed to a named person or business, with links you can check.
- No gambling, adult, get-rich-quick or misleading content. See the site rules.
- Paid links are marked
rel="sponsored", as Google requires. - Anyone can report a tip, and we remove anything that breaks the rules.
How the site makes money
Contributors pay a small fee to publish a tip, and we sell clearly-labelled banner and sponsorship space. We don't sell personal data.
Questions
Who writes the tips?
Business owners, directors, freelancers and advisers. Every tip shows who wrote it and links to their website or social profiles, so you can judge their experience for yourself.
Are tips checked?
Every tip is screened automatically against our site rules and reviewed by a person. Anything misleading, promotional-only, or about gambling or adult content is removed. You can report any tip from its page.
Why does it cost £2 to post?
A small fee stops spam and keeps the site independent. In return you get a permanent page for your tip and a sponsored link to your website.
Is this financial or legal advice?
No. Tips are the personal experience of their authors. Always check with a qualified professional before making financial, legal or tax decisions.
How are tips ranked?
The Most Popular pages (this week, month and year) rank tips by how many people clicked through to the author's website plus how many times the tip was shared. Readers can also upvote: one vote per person per tip. Featured tips are paid placements, pinned to the top for 28 days and clearly labelled.
